Sadabad'a ve Has Bahçe’ye Günübirlik Gezi - Daily Trip to Sadabad and Has Bahçe
İstanbul, Kağıthane ilçesinde bulunan Sadabad Camisi ve Parkı ve Has Bahçe mesire alanına günübirlik bir gezi düzenledim. Hafta içi olması nedeniyle epey sakindi ve belediye çalışanları kurumuş eski ağaçları budama ve kesme işleri ile uğraşıyorlardı. İlk defa gittiğim Kağıthane'deki bu mesire alanı epey dinlendirici bir ortamdı ve şehrin içinde kurtarılmış bir vaha gibiydi. Günümüze varamamış ve Patrona Halil İsyanı ile yıkılan Sadabat Sarayı ile birlikte Lale Devri'nde1722 yılında inşa edilen Sadabat Camisi ise son dönem Osmanlı mimarisinin izlerini taşımaktadır. Has bahçe ve Sadabad Parkı boyunca Cendere deresi akmaktadır ve bu foto-hikayenin yayınlandığı tarihte (30.07.2026) restorasyon halinde bulunan II. Mahmut için yapılan bir Nişan taşı da Sadabad Camii yanında bulunmaktadır.
I took a day trip to the Sadabad Mosque and Park and Has Bahçe (Has Garden) recreation area in the Kağıthane district in Istanbul. It was fairly quiet because it was a weekday, and municipal workers were busy pruning and cutting down old, dried-up trees. This recreation area in Kağıthane, which I visited for the first time, was quite relaxing and felt like a salvaged oasis within the city. The Sadabad Mosque, built in 1722 during the Tulip Era, along with the Sadabad Palace which did not survive to the present day and was destroyed in the Patrona Halil Rebellion, bears the traces of late Ottoman architecture. The Cendere stream flows through Has Bahçe (Has Garden) and Sadabad Park, and a memorial stone built for Mahmud II, currently under restoration at the time this photo story was published (July 30, 2026), is located next to the Sadabad Mosque.
